Each engraved slate coaster is hand hewn from natural slate ensuring a unique finish.

As slate can be fragile, the hand hewn edges mask the possibility of chipping and some crumbling can be expected.

Precision cut slate, with smooth edging, is available on request at an additional price.

Soft padded feet on the base prevent marking, but still allow additional space should you wish to engrave both sides of the coaster.

The engraved slate coasters are untreated so it is less likely to create a suction effect from condensation on a glass.
